Written by Nat Fleischer in 1947, the legend of perhaps the greatest lightweight in history. Benny Leonard possessed superb boxing skills together with terrific punching power. He had 212 bouts and suffered only four knockouts, three early in his career and the fourth in his final fight. He retired as champion in 1925, but hard times brought him back in 1931.
